Happy Mother’s Day!!!
Well, today was our last day in Austria. We spent the day walking around Vienna and seeing as much as we could. Some of the highlights of the day were seeing the Spanish riding school of Vienna (where the famous Lipizzanner stallions train for acrobatic shows), visiting St. Stephens Cathedral, and rocking out at a concert in Karlsplatz.
We are sad to say “Auf Wiedersehen” to Austria, but are happy to be coming home. Thanks to everyone for following us on our journey!
Love you all!

It took over 250 years to build Steffl.
Amazing!!!
Surprisingly, we made it to Vienna from Krems without any mishaps. Once we were in Vienna was another story! We must have driven around the city 3 times before finding where to drop our rental car.
After we finally dropped the car off, we made our way around the city. The buildings, and city in general, are gorgeous. Among the many things we saw were Parliment, Rathaus (city hall), University of Vienna, and a handful of museums.
We finished the night at Die Fromme Helene, a well-known restaurant in Vienna. We can’t believe tomorrow is our last day here in Austria and will be sad to leave, but we miss everyone back home and look forward to seeing everyone soon!

We started our day with a 40km mistake through the mountains. Once we figured out the way we were supposed to go, we stopped twice along the way. First at Lake Traun, a beautiful lake tucked between the mountains. Our second stop was on the banks of the Danube river in Spitz, where we enjoyed a glass a wine.
Once in Krems we found our Gasthaus, explored the city and ate dinner at a place called Al Capones (we assumed they had an english menu), and then called it a night.
